Maximus, the first homebred Dual CH for both Ruger and Sunrise, has thus far more than surpassed our dreams as a producer. His pedigree combines "Charlie" (BISS CH Add-Sim’s Good Time Charlie, ROMX) and "Beachy" (Am/Can CH Grandgables Blond Beach Boy MS, ROMX), a combination that has produced beautiful dogs for several kennels, but usually only in the smooth variety. We want to bring that type to miniature wires. Besides just one very young litter here at Ruger and two at Sunrise, Maximus has currently produced pups with only four carefully selected outside bitches, with the oldest of his pups whelped in March 2006. Contributing his elegant movement, balance, bone, fabulous temperament and hunting ability to both outcross and linebred litters, Maximus has produced these notable lovely pups, all owner or breeder handled.

Maximus has other youngsters waiting in the wings for their turns, including two more Lassie puppies.  Here at Ruger, we have some very exciting linebred (on Charlie and Beachy) wire puppies out of CH Doxikota Mali-Boo Barbie MS. 

Of course, Maximus is only part of the equation.  Without pretty, smart, typey bitches and fabulous breeders and owners, none of this would be possible!  Our sincere thanks to all of YOU for your hard work and dedication!  Not to mention the breeders who paved the way so that there could be dogs like our beloved Maxi.
